Fresh Garden Salsa
So when your garden brings forth beautiful juicy red tomatoes, a plethora of peppers, jalapeños, and cilantro, you've got to make salsa. Fresh salsa isn't just for tortilla chips either, spoon it over your morning eggs, mix some in with your favorite salad, spread it on top of your next sandwich, or yes, go ahead and dip your tortilla trip in it. One thing is for sure, this jar of pre-prepared goodness will delight to you in so many ways.
You simply hand dice the following:
Three large tomatoes
A mix of peppers your choice
A jalapeño (if you like it hot)
One medium onion
I handful of cilantro
Two large garlic cloves
Salt to taste
I drain some of the liquids and spoon it into a mason jar and keep in the fridge for about a week if it lasts that long.
Voila salsa!
